DUXBURy, MA KITCHEN & BATHS

This remarkable home transformation began with a family bathroom remodel that included the removal of all existing cabinetry, finishes, flooring and fixtures.  The team installed all new tiled flooring, vanity, fixtures and accessories.  We took this family bath from outdated to spectacular with a tiled shower that included a beautiful and useful glass mosaic niche.

The project continued with the full renovation of the remaining bathrooms.  Again, we removed all of the existing elements and replaced them with new upscale finishes that included a built in medicine cabinet and custom tiled niches throughout.  All of the household baths were now worthy of this gorgeous home and reflected the homeowner’s impeccable taste.

Work then moved on to the kitchen…the heart of the home.  The goal here was to update all existing aspects, improve the overall layout and shine a spotlight on the breathtaking ocean views from the kitchen by greatly increasing the size of the window opening. The end result was a dramatic and striking change!

This new and improved kitchen features:

  • Refinished wide pine floors
  • Updated electrical including pendant light fixtures
  • Stainless steel farmers sink
  • Painted maple cabinetry
  • Built in fridge
  • Island range with downdraft vent
  • 7’8” x 4’ Andersen stationary glass window unit

This project took place over the course of two years. One of those years happened to be one of the harshest New England winters on record. Our work is typically challenging in the winter, but this particular winter was both punishing and unrelenting with snow totals we hadn’t seen in years. We measure all other winters against this one and really appreciate a mild New England winter … almost as much as we appreciate this and all of our other amazing repeat customers.

I almost hate to write this review because I’d like to keep Burr Remodeling as my little secret! We have done more than our fair share of renovation on various houses throughout the years and have found Burr to be among the best of the best. The quality of their work is outstanding. They are reliable and professional, in addition to providing excellent communication. Although they have already renovated 3 bathrooms, our kitchen and our mudroom, we look forward to working with Bob, Dave and both Matts again.
