Thank you for considering our company to help you with your home improvement needs. It is our goal to offer organized, quality service, during all phases of your project. In an effort to keep you well informed throughout the contracting process, we have developed this guideline for you.

Initial Meeting or site visit (no charge)
1. Briefly discuss project with Architect/Designer
2. Show our qualifications

Second Meeting (no charge)
1. Discuss estimating process
2. Estimate Agreement is presented, along with estimate for plans

3

Estimate Agreement (retainer fee based on scope of the project)
1. Agreed upon, signed, and retainer accepted
2. Information taken to develop full estimate

4

Plans and site visits with Sub-Contractors
1. Plans are completed and reviewed
2. Typically 2 to 3 visits
3. Homeowner’s presence optional

Preliminary Estimate
1. Complete line itemed estimate is presented as outlined on Estimate Agreement
2. If necessary, scope of work is refined to fit project cost to into your budget

Detailed Estimate
1. Final contract with progress payment breakdown is agreed to and signed
2. Deposit accepted, and the initial retainer amount is applied

7

Project Scheduled
1. Work calendar created displaying daily activities of project
2. Materials ordered, Subs’ deposits distributed
